Urban Buzz York (The Story So Far) & AGM – Wednesday 25th May 2016

Woodlands provide especially fertile areas for insects to flourish, to the benefit of local bird life and other wildlife. The importance too of bees and other insect pollinators to the human food chain is increasingly recognised. Andrew Cutts and the Urban Buzz York team (see  https://www.buglife.org.uk/urban-buzz/york). are now actively aiming to improve our local natural environment for them to flourish.  Andrew will be giving us an illustrated talk on how we can make the wood more attractive to pollinating bees, butterflies and other insects. His talk will immediately follow our AGM

Meet at 8pm in the Dunnington Reading Room. Admission is free to members, non-members £1.50, and refreshments 50p.
